EVALUATION AND RESEARCH SECTION
Managing and ensuring the evaluation of approval applications for the release of activities related to Living Modified Organisms (LMOs) is carried out;
ENFORCEMENT AND MONITORING SECTION
Conducting compliance monitoring of the Terms and Conditions of approval by the National Biosafety Board (NBB) in laboratories/research premises and field trial areas, as well as LMO detection activities in the market;
CORPORATE AND MANAGEMENT SECTION
Ensuring that all safety aspects, covering all department personnel, documents/information, and government property, are always protected and secured;
